The Philippines, branded as the world’s BPO destination of choice, will be hosting the 4th Annual International Outsourcing Summit with its theme “Global Market Leaders Addressing Global Issues”.

Organized by the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), this year’s summit “will seek to increase understanding of these new drivers of growth, their impact, and how the industry is likely to adapt business models and strategies in response”, with the growth drivers identified as “developments in technology”, “expanding demand”, and “shifts in public policy”.

Benedict Hernandez, president and chief executive officer of BPAP, points out the timeliness of the Summit as the IT-BPO market faces “unprecedented challenges”. “Increasingly, clients expect our industry to play a significant role in transforming their business processes, and creating new sources of revenue,” said Hernandez.
